WELCOME TO MY WORLD
VESSELS: GHOST FLEET
The "Vessels: Ghost Fleet" art project is basically about using nature as a co-artist.
I build small ships, sink them and follow their decay. After 2-4 years they are salvaged and turned into objects of art.
Already as a teenager I experimented with creating paper collages and in 2015 I returned to this old-fashioned analogue technique of cutting paper to create images with a flair of yesterday’s travel posters and children’s books illustrations.
I try to arrange a “Paperworld” exhibition at least once a year, but I also do commissions.
SCÔZ am RHEIN
The illustrious Central European city of Scôz am Rhein has been a passion of mine since the late 1980's, a passion that through the years has spawned maps, images, books and websites.
